Annual Meeting of the American Society of Comparative Law
Innovation and Sustainability: Comparative Law for a Better World
October 17-19, 2024
Texas A&M University School of Law, Fort Worth, Texas
Texas A&M University School of Law and the American Society of Comparative Law (ASCL), the leading organization in the United States promoting the comparative study of law, are delighted to co-organize the 2024 Annual Meeting (AM) of the ASCL in Fort Worth, Texas, from Thursday, October 17 to Saturday, October 19, 2024. The Annual Meeting will take place in person only at Texas A&M University School of Law.
The theme of this year’s Annual Meeting is “Innovation and Sustainability: Comparative Law for a Better World.” While it has long been supported that innovation is fundamental for economic development, it is now increasingly evident that economic development needs to be sustainable to avoid violating human rights and depleting natural resources. The 2024 Annual Meeting will see scholars from different backgrounds discuss this important theme along with other topics of important relevance for the field of Comparative Law.
The Final Program of the 2024 Annual Meeting is available here and in the button above. It can also be downloaded from the ASCL main page at https://ascl.org/.
In addition, the Younger Comparativists Committee (YCC) will hold its Annual Meeting back-to-back with the ASCL Annual Meeting. Click here or see the tab above for the Program of the YCC Meeting.
