Rosa Maria Berdeja ’09Founder and Managing Member, The Law Office of Rosa Maria Berdeja

Rosa Maria Berdeja earned her JD from Texas Wesleyan School of Law in 2009. Following graduation, she immediately founded The Law Office of Rosa Maria Berdeja, a firm dedicated to the practice of immigration law. She is currently in her 14th year of practice.

In addition to her passion for helping immigrants, Rosa has a passion for service. Her commitment to community service is evident through her various roles in local organizations.

Rosa has been recognized for her contributions, receiving numerous awards such as the 2022 Fort Worth Hispanic Chamber of Commerce Businesswoman of the Year Award, the 2022 The Ladder Alliance Community Impact Award, and the 2023 Fort Worth Rotary Minority Business Award 2nd Place. Her legal acumen has also been acknowledged by her selection as a 2023 360 West Magazine Top Attorney in Immigration Law.

Beyond her legal achievements, Rosa's devotion to her community is evident in her work supporting organizations such as The Ladder Alliance, Young Women's Leadership Academy, Recovery Resource Council, Tough Stars Gives Back, Hispanic Women’s Network of Texas, and the Fort Worth Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, to name a few. Her outreach also extends to the Spanish-speaking population, helping people navigate the complex legal matters affecting the immigrant community.

Rosa’s connection to her alma mater is profound, as she is committed to giving back and fostering future leaders. Rosa’s ability to activate change is evident in her leadership roles and her desire to leave a positive legacy for the city of Fort Worth.

Her character and dedication make Rosa Maria Berdeja an inspiration and a beloved figure in the community. She leads by example, embodying the values of service and empowerment that resonate with all who know her.
