3L LEVI BAKER PURSUES AGRICULTURAL LAW CAREER

Levi_BakerLevi Baker, a third-year law student at Texas A&M University School of Law, plans to begin his career following law school as an Associate with Red Dirt Legal, located in Purcell, Oklahoma. Levi is excited to take part in the growth of the firm’s agricultural practice. Levi’s passion for agricultural law began at a young age as he grew up on a stock cattle operation run by his father. At Oklahoma State University, Levi studied agricultural economics. There, he was very involved in the Future Farmers of America, a student organization for those interested in agriculture and leadership. Levi says, these experiences “pointed him to studying how agricultural law affects our use of land and the preservation of it.” During his time at Texas A&M Law, Levi developed a relationship with Professor Bradbury, an adjunct professor specializing in Agricultural Law. Professor Bradbury practices full time and solely focuses on agricultural law and land use, particularly working with conservation easements, which Levi found very interesting, and only confirmed his passion for agricultural law.
