Peter Elgohary ’22Program Manager - Global Building Standards, Shell USA

In 2022, Peter received his master of jurisprudence from the law school where he double focused on energy, oil & gas law & policy, and environmental & energy law & policy. He also holds a master of business administration in finance and marketing from the University of St. Thomas in Houston and a master of arts in applied theory from the University of Balamand.

With a career spanning over twenty-five years, Peter Elgohary is a seasoned professional in project and contract management. His leadership has driven successful project deliveries for diverse portfolios, blending contract negotiation skills with project management expertise to ensure safe and valuable outcomes. His career progression encompasses roles such as mechanical engineer, senior analyst, and senior project manager. At present, he serves as the Building Standards SME/Global Program Manager at Shell. Prior to that, he was with Jacobs Engineering Group, United Airlines, and Continental Airlines.

Peter's commitment extends beyond the professional realm, exemplified by his affiliations with the Energy Corridor District, Construction Management Association of America Houston Chapter, and Psaltiki Inc., among others.

Moreover, Peter's involvement in the legal community includes sharing insights with prospective law students, advocating for the law school’s master's program within his organization, and offering support to fellow classmates.
