Hisham A. Masri ’15
Employment Counsel, Flowserve Corporation

Every major life decision kept Hisham in the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex. He practices in Irving as Employment Counsel at Flowserve Corporation, where he manages litigation, provides advice and counsel, conducts trainings, and handles investigations. He was born in Dallas and then raised and continues to live in Plano with his wife, Victoria, and their two young children, Celine and Jude. He attended Southern Methodist University in Dallas for his undergraduate studies in 2008 and obtained his law degree in Fort Worth from Texas A&M School of Law in 2015. While at the law school, he was Business Editor on Law Review and a research assistant to Professor Michael Z. Green.

As a first-generation lawyer and the son of Middle Eastern immigrants, Hisham is committed to improving the profession for all of us through active participation in legal and philanthropic organizations. He recently blazed a trail by becoming the first law school graduate elected to a state-wide office with the State Bar of Texas. He is the current President-elect of the Texas Young Lawyers' Association, and previously served as its Vice-President and Secretary, ABA-YLD District Representative, and Dallas Director. He also serves as a Fellow of the Texas Bar Foundation, an associate in the Higginbotham Inn of Court, and an involved member of the National Employment Law Council. He also loves volunteering with Plano Teen Court as a judge since the same program first inspired him to pursue a legal education when he was a teen attorney.
