Is It Time to Order Your Aggie Ring?

Not sure if you are eligible to order?  Here are the details:

J.D. Eligibility Requirements:

  • 45 completed institution professional hours at Texas A&M
  • 2.0 minimum cumulative GPA

MLS, M.JUR. and LL.M. Eligibility Requirements:

  • You must have completed 75% of your coursework required for your degree program at Texas A&M.
  • You MUST have an approved degree plan on file with the Graduate and Professional School, and it must be showing in HOWDY.
  • Note: If you added a class to your degree program, the Ring office will look at 75% of your total hours as listed on your approved degree plan.  For example, the MLS requires 30 hours.  75% of that is 23 hours.  However, if you take 33 hours, 75% of 33 is 25 hours. There are no exceptions.**

ORDER SESSION DATES FOR APRIL DELIVERY AND MAY DELIVERY

  • The Aggie Ring order session for the spring session with a Friday, April 12th delivery is open now and ends February 21st.
  • The Aggie Ring order session with a Saturday, May 4th graduation day delivery begins February 26 – March 25.  More details below.

Attend an Aggie Ring Information Session to get all the details on the order process and options. It is HIGHLY RECOMMENDED that you attend an Aggie Ring Information Session before placing your order. All in-person sessions include an opportunity to get sized.

Please attend the appropriate session for your degree as different degrees have different requirements.

GRADUATING IN MAY?

If you are graduating in May, but will not be eligible to receive your Ring until your last semester’s grades are submitted; you can order your Ring for a graduation day delivery between February 26 – March 25. To order, you must have filed for graduation. Please note that grades will have to be posted and showing that 75% of your hours are in before you will receive your Ring.** You can still participate in the ceremony, but you may not take your Ring with you if you have not met the eligibility requirements on graduation day.
