TEXAS A&M LAW COMMENCEMENT

 

There are three commencement ceremonies throughout the year for Texas A&M University School of Law graduates. Below are three tabs with additional information about each ceremony.

Spring 2026 Commencement

Date: Saturday, May 2, 2026
Time of Ceremony: 1:00 PM CST
Location: Dr. Jim Vaszauskas Center for the Performing Arts, 1110 W. Debbie Lane, Mansfield, TX 76063

Additional Information

Important Deadlines

  • November 1, 2025: File degree plan for LLM and MLS programs for May 2026 degree
  • December 22, 2026: Graduation application opens in Howdy for all students planning to graduate in May 2026
  • February 13, 2026: Last day to apply for May graduation without a late fee for JD, LLM, and MLS programs
  • March 16, 2026: Pro bono deadline for May 2026 JD graduates
  • March 23, 2026: Deadline to:
    • Complete the commencement attendance survey
    • Confirm or change name and address on Howdy
    • Remove directory holds to have name printed in the commencement program
    • Request ADA accommodations for graduates and guests for the commencement ceremony
    • JD - apply for concentrations to be recognized at commencement
    • LLM and MLS - Ensure certificates are included in your curriculum information in Howdy to be recognized at commencement
  • April 1, 2026: Deadline to:
    • File degree plan for LLM and MLS programs for August 2026 degree
  • April 28, 2026: Deadline to:
    • Apply for May degree for JD, LLM, and MLS
    • LLM and MLS - Apply for certificates
  • May 2, 2026: Commencement ceremony for JD, LLM, and MLS degrees

Summer commencement for August graduates is held by Texas A&M University located in College Station, Texas. The School of Law does not oversee any part of the summer commencement.

Fall commencement for December graduates is held by Texas A&M University located in College Station, Texas. The School of Law does not oversee any part of the fall commencement.
